Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms apply to the Svoya app, operated by Mgr. Daniela Buchláková, Mierová 1909/76, 066 01 Humenné, Slovakia, business ID (IČO) 53462301 ("we", "us"). By using Svoya you agree to them.

If you downloaded Svoya from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms add to it; where the two conflict for an App Store download, Apple's agreement prevails.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

1. What Svoya does

Svoya shows a reference photo over your live camera view so you can match a pose, framing or composition and take the photo you have in mind. It includes a library of poses, camera tools such as opacity control, grid, timer and burst, and a Gallery for the photos you take. An account is optional: you only need one to take part in the invite program.

2. Who can use Svoya

You must be at least 13 years old to use Svoya. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to use Svoya and to buy a subscription.

3. Subscriptions

Svoya is a paid subscription app, offered as a monthly or a yearly plan. The price, billing period and currency are shown in the app before you buy and can differ by country.

4. Free trial

The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers who have not had a trial or subscription for Svoya before. Eligibility is decided by Apple or Google.

5. Your account

Creating an account is optional. Svoya works fully without one; you only need an account to get your own invite code and see your rewards.

6. Invite friends

If you have an account, Profile shows your personal invite code. A friend can enter it in the Svoya onboarding before they subscribe.

7. Your photos are yours

Photos you take with Svoya belong to you. We claim no rights over them, we never upload them and we never see them.

8. Photos you use as references

You are responsible for the photos you import as references. Only use photos you are allowed to use. A photo you found online usually belongs to someone else: using it privately as a guide for your own shot is one thing, republishing it is another.

Do not use Svoya to create content that is illegal, that harasses or exploits anyone, that sexualizes minors, or that infringes someone else's rights.

9. The pose library

The images in the Svoya pose library are AI-generated and do not show real people. They are licensed to you only for personal use inside Svoya, as a guide for your own photos. You may not copy, extract, redistribute or resell them, or use them to build another library or product.

10. Our app and brand

Svoya, its design, code, texts, pose library and brand belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the limited right to use the app described in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep Svoya running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Some features depend on your device; for example, the zoom lenses offered depend on the cameras your phone has. We may add, change or remove features to improve the app.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for photos you did not manage to take. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using Svoya at any time by deleting the app, cancelling your subscription in your store settings and, if you created one, deleting your account in Profile. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will also let you know in the app. If you continue to use Svoya after a change, the updated terms apply.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings there.
